Yagi Online (“we,” “our,” “us”) designs mobile apps that simplify daily life. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information across all Yagi Online products and servicee, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.
2. What We Collect
We collect four main types of data to power and improve your experience.
First, we collect menu photos you upload, which are used to analyze dishes and generate personalized recommendations.
Second, we store your dining preferences to personalize results and save your profile for future sessions.
Third, if you choose to create an account, we may collect your email or Apple ID to sync data across devices and help restore preferences or purchases.
Lastly, we may collect anonymized usage data like feature taps or crash reports to help us improve app stability and functionality (Usage Data → Product interaction).
3. How We Use Your Data
Core Functionality – Analyze menu photos and match them against your saved preferences to recommend dishes.
Personalization – Remember your dietary needs so you don’t have to re-enter them every time.
App Improvement – Aggregate, de-identified analytics help us spot bugs and understand which features you love.
Legal & Security – Detect misuse, comply with legal obligations, and protect our users and services.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it:

5. Your Choices & Rights
Access / Correction – View or edit your profile any time in the app.
Deletion – Delete menu photos immediately after upload; delete your entire profile via Delete My Data.
Account Deletion – If you create an account, you can also delete it from within the app (Settings › Account › Delete Account).
6. Security
We follow industry best practices: TLS 1.2+ for data in transit, AES-256 for data at rest, role-based access controls, and routine penetration testing. No system is 100 % secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. International Transfers
We are based in the US. If you access our services from outside that country, your data may be transferred to—and processed in—jurisdictions that may have data-protection laws less strict than your own. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect new features, legal requirements, or industry practices. We will notify you in-app or via email at least 30 days before material changes take effect.
